Our Administration

Dr. Jessica Sapsara serves as principal of Knoch Intermediate Elementary School. In her twenty-plus years in education, she has served in roles of teacher, Title 1 director, department chair, curriculum leader, and assistant principal. She is an advocate for strong math education and engaging students in rigorous learning opportunities.

Prior to joining the Knoch School District, Dr. Sapsara served as an elementary and middle school assistant principal.  She has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in elementary education and math education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Sapsara’s principal’s certificate is from Penn West- Cal U.  She obtained her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Duquesne University.

She is deeply committed to a future-focused vision for our school where students, staff, and families collaborate for student success.
