Mrs. Fitzgerald joined the Knoch School District in 2018 as the Knoch Middle School Assistant Principal. During the 2021-21 school year, she was named Pennsylvania's 2021 Assistant Principal of the year by the Pennsylvania Principals Association.  Before coming to the District, she was the Principal/CAO of Urban Pathways in Pittsburgh.  While living in Bethlehem, Pa., she was the Literacy and Assessment Coordinator and Reading Teacher for the IB Diploma School, Lehigh Valley Academy. Mrs. Fitzgerald received her BA degree from Penn State University-Main Campus, her Master’s Degree from Lehigh University, her Principal Certification from California University, and her Superintendent letter from Point Park University.
